Phil Mickelson, who claims to have gone on, is suing the PGA Tour.

Phil Michelson stated in a lengthy interview with SL.com's Bob Herig that joining LIV Gold had helped him to move on.

He was optimistic about the future of the Saudi-sponsored circuit.

The 45-minute talk covered a wide range of topics, including his involvement in the major changes to professional golf as well as the PGA Tour's ongoing efforts to reform its timetable and organizational structure.

Mickelson stated that if LIV golf had not given the top players in the game power, the tour's most recent changes would not have been implemented.

Nothing would happen, it was said unequivocally. He said that nothing would happen unless there was leverage.
